Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
Funds will provide one-time assistance to low-income eligible households with home electric and/or gas bills.
Transportation
Transportation can include rides to and from service providers for dialysis, medical and mental health appointments, employment, personal and shopping needs.
Head Start Program
Child and parent services.
Kitchen
The Clarendon Kitchen and Brinkley Kitchen prepares meals for the Head Start Program and the Senior Adult Program, including home delivered meals. A certified Nutritionist plans, schedules, and supervises preparation of all meals. These meals are then delivered to the Head Start Centers, the Senior Adult Centers, and the home.
Senior Adult Programming
This program promotes independence with dignity for senior citizens 60 years old or older. Transportation is provided to centers close to where participants live in Monroe County.
Community Services
Through the Community Services Block Grant Program, Mid-Delta can provide a wide range of services which includes employment, transportation, education, counseling, income utilization, emergency services, community projects for children and adults, food and rent assistance to families who have been victims of job loss due to reduction of work force, and other community service-related activities.
Crisis Intervention Program
Provides assistance to low-income, elderly and disabled households that are faced with a shut-off notice or their utility services are disconnected.
